Refunds & returns
If something goes wrong with an order, here's how refunds work on Kampala Snap.
Automatic refunds (escrow protection)
If you never share your delivery PIN, the seller can never claim your money. After a set time without confirmation, the order auto-disputes and our team reviews — most of these result in an automatic refund.
After raising a dispute
If you've raised a dispute and our team rules in your favour, the refund processes within 2 business days:
- Refunds return to the same payment method you used
- MoMo refunds typically arrive within 1–2 hours of approval
Returns
Returning a physical item is between you and the seller — Kampala Snap doesn't handle the logistics. If the seller refuses a reasonable return, raise a dispute and our team will look at the case.
What we can't refund
- Orders where you already shared the PIN (the seller's been paid — pursue with them directly or raise a dispute)
- Buyer's-remorse returns ("I changed my mind") unless the seller agrees
